Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards
- Manage patient education and comfort throughout appointments
- Oversee inventory control and supply management for 8 operatories
- Coordinate seamless digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft systems
- Assist in treatment planning coordination and insurance documentation
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- Expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR/BLS certification maintained
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner skills
- Experience with digital impression systems (iTero, TRIOS)
