Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including endodontic treatments and restorative work
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Take accurate dental radiographs and perform preliminary exams
- Manage patient flow and ensure comfortable waiting experiences
- Process insurance claims and maintain detailed digital records
- Train new staff on clinic protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification and X-ray license
- Minimum 2 years experience in endodontic or specialty dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient education
- Strong attention to detail in infection control procedures
- Ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently
