Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate appointments and handle insurance documentation
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current Dental Radiography certification (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with digital imaging software (Eagletex, Dexis)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
