Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain clinical hygiene
- Coordinate patient flow and prepare treatment rooms efficiently
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education support
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program certification (CODA or equivalent)
- Active Kansas Dental Assistant license or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification with current credentials
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
