Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA and CDC protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Manage patient flow and chairside assistance for 8+ daily appointments
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Order inventory and manage supply chain for 5 operatories
- Train new staff on clinic protocols and infection control
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant Radiology License (RAD)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management systems
- DEXIS/Patterson imaging experience preferred
- Excellent chairside communication in English/Spanish
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- No prior disciplinary actions on dental license
