Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records using Dentrix software
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 8-operatories
- Maintain strict infection control standards across all clinical areas
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or DANB/RDA credential
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal date
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment with 30+ daily patients
- Excellent communication skills and chairside manner
- Experience with Dentrix/Eaglesoft software preferred
