Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and extractions
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation per OSHA protocols
- Manage patient education and comfort during treatments
- Maintain digital patient records and inventory control systems
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and lab communications
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in high-volume settings
- Knowledge of HIPAA and dental safety protocols
