Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient records using digital charting systems
- Coordinate patient scheduling and recall systems
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or x-ray license (Ohio)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- CPR certification required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Digital charting experience (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
