Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfer assistance, including using walkers and wheelchairs.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not always required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
