Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and micro-collection techniques efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of all blood specimens.
- Interact professionally with patients to explain procedures and alleviate anxiety.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Process and log patient data accurately into the laboratory information system.
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification (ASCP, BLS, or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
