Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using proper infection control protocols
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting systems
- Provide chairside support during restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
- Maintain immaculate operatory and supply inventory
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology license
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient communication
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
