Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implants, crowns, and orthodontics
- Capture diagnostic radiographs using digital imaging systems
- Implement strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate chairside workflow and instrument preparation
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA credential required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Experience with digital impression systems (iTero, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
