Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare patients for treatment and maintain accurate clinical records
- Perform sterilization and instrument processing per OSHA protocols
- Capture diagnostic radiographs and digital impressions
- Manage inventory ordering and supply maintenance
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate seamlessly with administrative staff for scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant license and radiography certification
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to continuous learning in dental technology
