Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment before patient exams.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and precision.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Explain dental procedures and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle insurance verification.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or Radiologic Technology (RDA) is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
