Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Perform chairside support with proper infection control protocols
- Take and develop accurate dental X-rays using digital imaging systems
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory equipment
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient flow
- Maintain precise digital dental records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Excellent communication skills for patient education
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Positive attitude and team collaboration mindset
