Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws using provided premium equipment
- Process specimens with automated analyzers and maintain sample integrity
- Train on new phlebotomy technologies and safety protocols
- Document procedures accurately in our digital health records system
- Ensure all equipment is sterilized and calibrated per OSHA standards
- Collaborate with lab technicians using provided diagnostic tools
Qualifications
- Current phlebotomy certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- 1+ year clinical experience with blood collection
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Ability to use provided safety-engineered devices
- Strong communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Valid Washington State healthcare provider license
