Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontics
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take dental radiographs and perform accurate charting
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory and order dental supplies
- Maintain immaculate operatory and sterilization areas
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant X-Ray certification (CA State Board)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA compliance
- Positive attitude with commitment to patient comfort
