Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as directed by the RN.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the patient's condition to the care team.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social outings.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and changing linens, to ensure a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
- Current, valid state license or certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist patients up to 50 lbs.
- Professional demeanor and a genuine passion for senior care.
