Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and surgeries
- Perform chairside duties including instrument transfer, suction, and patient comfort measures
- Capture and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain sterile field protocols and ensure proper infection control standards
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft dental software
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments between procedures
- Provide post-operative instructions and compassionate patient education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license (AZ state required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and sterilization protocols
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety regulations
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient rapport-building
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
