Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms
- Take dental X-rays and develop diagnostic images
- Manage patient records and scheduling systems
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and follow-up calls
- Order supplies and inventory dental materials
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DA or EFDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in dental practice
- Proficiency in dental imaging (X-rays, intraoral cameras)
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
