Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety protocols
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorations, extractions, and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate seamless scheduling and chairside efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification or RDA status required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Mastery of digital imaging (DEXIS, Dexis Imaging preferred)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
