Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform sterilization and instrument processing following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and expose diagnostic radiographs
- Manage patient flow and maintain digital charting in Dentrix software
- Prepare treatment rooms and inventory dental supplies
- Deliver post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
