Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Manage patient flow and ensure sterilization protocols are strictly followed
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for efficient operations
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix software
- Order inventory and manage dental supply organization
Qualifications
- Minnesota Dental Assistant certification required
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with digital charting systems (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
