Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral imaging with precision
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Execute comprehensive charting and electronic health record management
- Deliver patient education on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current provider status
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for multi-quadrant procedures
- Proven ability to manage anxious patients with empathy
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
