Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain imaging equipment
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist with dental restorative procedures and lab work
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order supplies and maintain efficient clinic inventory
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
