As a Home Health Aide with BrightStar Care, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, to clients in their homes.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Case Manager.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to enhance their mental well-being.
- Administer medications as directed by the RN, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma State CNA or Home Health Aide certification required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
