Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following OSHA protocols
- Take digital radiographs and accurate dental impressions
- Manage patient scheduling and coordinate treatment plans
- Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix software
- Oversee inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency in digital radiography and impression techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
