Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision and safety protocols
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict OSHA compliance in operatory setups
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide under dentist supervision
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Provide post-operative instructions and compassionate patient education
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant Radiography certification (CORRA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient rapport building
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong attention to detail in sterilization protocols
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
