Key Duties:
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays (OPG/Panoramic) as required.
- Manage accurate patient records and charting in our practice management software.
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization procedures meticulously.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins, and educate them on oral hygiene.
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA or RDA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification required.
