Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures with efficiency and professionalism.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
- Perform vital signs monitoring and prepare patients for procedures.
- Manage patient records accurately, including updating charts and insurance information.
- Provide exceptional customer service and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
