- Patient Care: Assist the dentist during procedures with precision and care.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization and safety.
- Chairside Support: Prepare instruments, mix materials, and ensure the operatory is fully stocked.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and verify insurance.
- Diagnostic Support: Take and develop digital X-rays, as well as impressions and models.

Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assisting duties for general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.
- Take and process digital X-rays (PAN, Periapical, Cephalometric).
- Assist in creating and pouring study models and temporary crowns.
- Greet patients, collect co-pays, and update patient information accurately.
- Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and fully equipped before each procedure.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant license or certificate (RDA/CDA) required.
- Ability to obtain or already hold a Texas State License.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) must be current.
