Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support our dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly while making patients feel comfortable and informed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with a focus on 4-handed dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, sterile environment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) following safety protocols.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Provide excellent patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Order dental supplies and manage inventory as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or LDA from an accredited institution.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- State Radiography license or certification (Michigan required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients of all ages.
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
