As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and positive patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) and intraoral photographs.
- Take impressions of teeth for study models and orthodontic appliances.
- Provide patient education, post-operative instructions, and oral hygiene guidance.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and charts in our dental software.
- Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant license (RDA or DA) required.
- DANB (General Chairside) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be current.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
