Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and symptom analysis to determine appropriate medical care pathways.
- Evaluate and prioritize incoming patient requests and emergency situations efficiently.
- Document detailed clinical notes and patient history accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide clear instructions and health education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Manage patient flow to minimize wait times and optimize clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a triage or urgent care setting.
- Advanced certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR software systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
