Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures using provided equipment
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Maintain sterilization protocols and inventory of dental supplies
- Take and develop dental radiographs using digital X-ray systems
- Manage patient charts and digital records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with front office to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience required
- Current CPR certification and North Carolina radiography license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuing education and new techniques
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
