Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment hygiene protocols
- Take dental X-rays and digital impressions using provided technology
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies and materials
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental settings
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Louisiana dental radiology permit preferred
- CPR certification
