Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity using standardized triage protocols and provided diagnostic equipment
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for critical cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using our advanced EHR system
- Oversee patient flow and department resource allocation
- Train new staff on triage procedures and equipment usage
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with telemedicine and digital triage tools
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- BSN preferred or equivalent experience
