Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced equipment including digital X-ray units and intraoral cameras
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following strict OSHA protocols
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Implement infection control procedures for equipment and treatment areas
- Document patient records using our digital practice management system
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- New York State Dental Assistant License (RDA or CDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
