Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas using advanced dental equipment
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Manage digital imaging systems and practice management software
- Maintain sterile environments and OSHA compliance protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Provide patient education on post-procedure care
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Diploma or Associate's degree (CODA accredited)
- Current DANB certification or North Carolina license
- 2+ years experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification (maintained)
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
