Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA standards
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs with our modern digital equipment
- Manage patient records and documentation using our advanced practice management software
- Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment inventory
- Train on new technologies and techniques as part of our continuous learning culture
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program certification or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- North Carolina Dental Assistant license (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude and commitment to team collaboration
