Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER/ICU units with 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on critical care protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans in EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (compact license acceptable)
- 2+ years acute care experience in ER or ICU
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
