Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Operate digital radiography systems and intraoral cameras (equipment provided)
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models using provided materials
- Manage patient flow and ensure seamless clinical operations
- Provide chairside assistance during emergency procedures
- Train on our advanced practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication skills and patient rapport
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Valid Oregon driver's license (for occasional off-site events)
