Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor client health status, including vital signs and weight, and report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to ensure clients lead a happy and fulfilling life.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as prescribed by physical therapists.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders according to care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Accurately document daily care activities in client records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate nature with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
