Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical cases
- Operate digital radiography and imaging equipment
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting (Dentrix/Eaglesoft experience preferred)
- Prepare treatment rooms and instrument trays
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Diploma or Certificate from accredited program
- Current North Carolina Dental Assistant certification
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency with dental radiography and sterilization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
