Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Prepare patients and maintain optimal operatory setups
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Implement infection control standards per OSHA guidelines
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide chairside support for cosmetic and restorative procedures
Qualifications
- New York State Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in dental practice
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, technology-driven environment
