Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing, including data entry and verification
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
- Maintain inventory control and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize pharmacy software systems for efficient operations
- Assist in training new pharmacy team members
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Rx30)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CompTIA A+ certification a plus
