Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist and hygienists during examinations and treatments with efficiency and precision.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Greet patients warmly, manage patient records, and educate them on oral hygiene.
- Take and develop digital X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain a sterile environment following strict OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Process payments and handle insurance claims with accuracy.
Qualifications
- Current Arizona RDA or Dental Assistant license.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry setting is preferred but not required for new graduates.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks during procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with dental software.
