Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental equipment before procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments and surgeries
- Take accurate dental impressions and X-rays using provided equipment
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and post-care instructions
- Inventory and maintain dental supplies and instruments
- Ensure strict OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification (RDA or EFDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures efficiently
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
