Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in diverse Atlanta healthcare facilities (ER, ICU, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Document patient progress in EMR systems per facility protocols
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Provide education to patients and families on health management
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and staffing models
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
- 2+ years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in various specialties
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
