Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Take and develop high-quality digital and traditional dental X-rays (Radiographs).
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins, and update patient medical records.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.
- Educate patients on dental insurance plans and financial options.
Qualifications
- Current Indiana RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DA (Dental Assistant) license.
- CPR and BLS certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency with dental software and modern equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and infection control.
